It all started around 7 o'clock on Tuesday, when a Jackson County Sheriff's Deputy caught Alderidge and a male passenger speeding westbound on Highway 140 near Meridian Road. When the deputy ran the license plate, he found the car she was driving was stolen out of Klamath Falls.
That's when Alderidge took off at more than 100 miles per hour, racing through a red light across Highway 62. The pursuit continued to Agate Road. Alderidge ended up losing control of her vehicle and crashing at the intersection of Highway 234 and Agate Road. Both suspects fled the scene on foot. Alderidge was caught about 100 yards from the crash site, while the passenger led police on a mile-long foot chase"
