Cocaine incidents make up several grand jury indictments chillicothegazette.com Chillicothe Gazette: "John Bunch, 37, of Mount Victory, who was indicted on charges of failure to comply, a third-degree felony, receiving stolen property, a fourth-degree felony, and possession of cocaine, a fourth-degree felony.
On March 5, a state trooper saw Bunch traveling southbound on U.S. 23 and committed a traffic violation. When the trooper attempted to stop the vehicle, Bunch allegedly increased his speed, going up to 90 miles per hour into Waverly.
Bunch turned around and headed back towards Ross County, running several stop signs and passing a school bus with children. Officers deployed stop sticks to stop the vehicle at Valley Road and Ohio 772. Bunch crashed his vehicle and tried to flee on foot.
Officers were able to apprehend him during the foot pursuit. When searched, officers found a bag of marijuana and white rocks in a bag on his person. The bag tested positive for 3.30 grams of crack cocaine.
The vehicle was determined to be stolen out of Pike County."
