Cocaine incidents make up several grand jury indictments chillicothegazette.com Chillicothe Gazette: "Demarko Steele, 23, of Columbus, who was indicted on two counts of possession of cocaine, a second- and third-degree felony. Katherine Roberts, 21, of Ironton, was indicted on two counts of complicity to possession of cocaine, a second- and third-degree felony.
On Dec. 14, a state trooper stopped a vehicle on U.S. 23 for a traffic violation. The driver in the vehicle was Roberts.
The officer asked Steele to get out of the vehicle, and during a search, the officer found a hard object in the back of the suspect's pants. The officer asked Steele to spread his legs, at which point an object identified as 14.7 grams of crack cocaine fell out, along with another white rock that tested positive for 27.80 grams of cocaine.
Officers suspect Roberts drove Steele to Columbus to buy the drugs and was bringing the drugs back to Ironton."
