John Halligan, 40, and Alan Macaulay, 30, were packaging heroin with a potential street value of £32,250.It was in seven plastic bags, which were thrown out of a window as police burst into the house. The bags were recovered from the back garden.
The court also heard that Macauley tried to escape by jumping from a first-floor window. He claimed that was because he thought there was a warrant out for his arrest.Halligan, of Avon Tower, Motherwell, and MacAulay, a prisoner in Barlinnie, admitted being concerned in the supply of heroin.Macaulay also admitted having a small quantity of cannabis resin with a street value of £40 in his possession.
